A number of new exhibition, shopfitting and display products that earned rave reviews at this year’s EuroShop trade fair in Germany have just been introduced to the Australian market by Octanorm Australia.

From an innovative magnetic fixing system for fabric displays to an iPad app that allows exhibition contractors to design stands at the touch of a button, Octanorm Australia has added to its product range some of the highlights of EuroShop 2011, the world’s largest trade fair for retail-related equipment and technology.

“Octanorm Australia prides itself on being at the forefront of the display revolution and, with more than 2000 exhibitors from 53 countries, there’s no better place to view the latest product trends and innovative technology than EuroShop,” said Stephen Dorrofield, Business Manager, Octanorm Australia.

“The Octanorm stand was one of the drawcards of this year’s event with some 21 new products on show and we’ve selected some of the best of these to introduce to the Australian market.”

Among the new products now available in Australia is the OCTAfabric - Magnetic system, an innovative addition to the thin and elegant OCTAfabric free standing display range that allows for perfect display architecture with magnetic holders.

For digital presentations at exhibitions and retail locations, Octanorm Australia has added a new monitor adaptor solution in the form of the VA5524 monitor pole set, which is ideal for LCD screens and monitors mounted on one side.

Also new to the brand’s product portfolio is the sleek 1920 lightbox extrusion and the M1316 fabric suspension extrusion, the latter of which can be mounted to square and rectangular extrusions to enable the creation of seamless fabric display cubes for the exhibition, shopfitting and display industries.

Octanorm Australia also recently unveiled the ExhibitionApp, a free iPad app that was one of the show stoppers at Octanorm’s EuroShop stand.

The app is an ideal advertising tool for exhibition contractors, enabling them to professionally present an Octanorm designed stand using the very latest technology with the help of pictures, videos and 3D animations.

Held every three years, EuroShop attracted more than 106,000 visitors from over 90 countries to the Messe Düsseldorf trade fair ground from 26 February to 2 March.

Octanorm’s elaborate two-storey exhibit was a landmark at the event, incorporating a central bar and communication area, new product areas and a software demonstration area, and serving as a meeting point for expo-goers to take a break, enjoy a coffee and network with other visitors.

Available for download on Apple iTunes, the ExhibitionApp is suitable for both iPad 1 and 2 and there are plans to create a version to support Android tablets in the future.

The other new products are available from Octanorm Australia offices throughout Australia. For more information visit
