The expanding SeaLink Travel Group - which recently acquired Queensland ferry company Sunferries - has today announced three senior appointments.

SeaLink has appointed Jeff Davey to General Manager of Townsville-based Sunferries, Tom Mulraney to SeaLink’s newly created role of Acquisition Accountant and Hamish Cameron to Senior IT Manager.

Jeff Davey has been promoted to General Manager, Sunferries after working as Operations Manager since June 2010. He previously worked as a master for four-and-a-half years on super yachts and operated his own reef tour business out of Townsville. His experience also extends to road transport, vessel maintenance and re-fits. Jeff will oversee the operation of Sunferries’ 19 ferry services a day between Townsville and Magnetic Island and four services a week to Palm Island.

Tom Mulraney will assist with the integration of Sunferries into the SeaLink Travel Group and is based in Adelaide. Tom began his career at Ernst & Young where he was quickly promoted to Senior Auditor after completing his Chartered Accountants program, and most recently was Audit Manager at Edwards Marshall Chartered Accountants.

Hamish Cameron has extensive experience in software engineering, project management, and technical leadership in defence, government, and commercial sectors. His previous roles include working as a senior engineer for Raytheon in Canberra, and most recently for large engineering and consulting company QinetiQ, where he was the technical project manager for a cyber-security product.
