TV Host, Actress and Bollywood Personality Tania Zaetta says she'll return to promoting Australia on the subcontinent after Gold Coast public nuisance charges against her were dropped.

Tania Zaetta Tania briefly appeared in Southport Magistrates Court on Wednesday where police dropped the charges relating to an incident on a Surfers Paradise footpath on March 21.

Police also said they would not proceed with another charge of obstructing police either.

As there had been no wrong doing on her part, Miss Zaetta said she was pleased the matter had been sorted out sensibly and quickly with the Prosecutor electing not to proceed.

"Naturally I’m annoyed at being charged at all when the incident itself was unwarranted, waiting by myself on a public footpath to be collected by a friend." Tania said.

She is now looking forward to turning her attention back to her work commitments.

"I can now get back to continuing to promote Australia as a great destination for Indian tourists and students, and focus on a new exciting Australian film I’ll be starting in Melbourne in the next few weeks," she said.

Tania resides between Sydney and Gold Coast.
