In a move that promises to increase the sales and status of its decorative building product range in the Northern Territory, HVG Decorative Building Products has today announced the appointment of Stone Warehouse NT as its official distributor in Darwin.

The appointment will see the Darwin-based company distribute a range of products from HVG Decorative Building Products, including the CREASTYLE and CREAMETAL high-pressure laminates, Plexiglas specialty acrylics, and Seratone and Zenolite decorative panels solutions.

David Maltby, Business Manager, HVG Decorative Building Products said Stone Warehouse NT was a natural choice for the role, as the company was already the local stockist and distributor for fellow HVG division Smartstone.

“The team at Stonewarehouse NT has had training with the HVG product range and their appointment will ensure all product, install and specification enquiries in Darwin can be handled locally by locals,” said Mr Maltby.

Founded a year ago as a supplier and manufacturer of quality stone products by stonemason Matthew Dunn, Stonewarehouse NT has fast expanded into a leading supplier to the local building industry.

Mr Dunn said his company brought both extensive knowledge of the building industry and the Darwin marketplace to the HVG distribution network.

“With our huge warehouse facilities in Pinelands, we also have the capacity to stock stone and building products to supply to all local builders and building projects, large and small,” said Mr Dunn.

Stonewarehouse NT is in the process of setting up a Darwin showroom and dedicated selection centre, which is expected to open by late May or early June, to showcase building product samples and displays.
