MELBOURNE, Aust. -- March 28, 2011 -- Compuware Corporation (Nasdaq:CPWR), the technology performance company, announced today that it would highlight its solutions for managing the performance of applications across the Cisco borderless network with a presentation and hands-on booth at Cisco Live, Melbourne.

Compuware will have a booth where attendees can discuss the Cisco and Compuware solution. Delegates will also be able to view CloudSleuth [https://www.cloudsleuth.net/], a collaborative community focused on measuring and reporting cloud service provider performance. CloudSleuth delivers valuable information to help IT organisations select and monitor cloud providers.

The Compuware presentation is titled, "Understand Applications Across the Cisco Borderless Network, Data Centre, and Cloud: From the First to Last Mile". Mike Hicks, Compuware Subject Matter -- Advanced Networking, Strategy and Product Management, will cover Compuware's solution for both enterprises and service providers who are looking to improve application performance across the Cisco network.

The presentation will take place at the Cisco Live Partner Theatre on Friday 1st April at 12:50pm.

Hicks will cover how Compuware application performance management solutions can give organisations a full view into their application performance starting from the one perspective that matters most -- that of their customers and end users -- and which includes:
* monitoring across both the enterprise and Internet
* transaction tracking across the entire infrastructure, component by component
* unified dashboards with role-specific views into how application performance supports the business.

Hicks will then present the Cisco and Compuware solution that enables proactive problem identification, prioritisation of performance issues based on business impact, rapid fault domain isolation, baseline and on-going reporting, and analytics across multiple technologies including Cisco Network Analysis Module (NAM), Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS), Cisco Wide Area Application Services (WAAS), VoIP and multimedia.

"As applications become more collaborative and are accessed globally, business will need to ensure
they are well equipped to manage and optimise user performance and eliminate outages," said Hicks.

"When it comes to delivering applications across borderless networks, organisations are discovering that there are quite a few complexities," he said. "Compuware recognises these complexities and maintains visibility across the entire delivery infrastructure, from the data centre through the cloud to the last mile connection to help assure that application performance surpasses customer expectations."
