ExpoNet has claimed one of the exhibition industry’s top honours for the second year running, taking home the award for best Support Services at last night’s Meetings & Events Australia (MEA) NSW Awards.

The events supplier was recognised for its outstanding provision of products and services to the conference, meetings and exhibition industry at the gala awards celebration at Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Jim Delahunty, CEO, ExpoNet said the announcement, which marked back to back wins in the same category for the company, was a testament to the dedication of ExpoNet’s team of project managers, designers and production staff.

“The past year has been an incredibly busy and demanding one and to again be recognised by a judging panel of industry experts with this award is a terrific honour and a testimony to the enormous ongoing efforts of our team,” said Delahunty.

“We’ve successfully serviced some 400 meetings and events in more 100 venues across the country and we couldn’t have achieved this without a lot of hard work from a lot of people.”

One of 23 awards presented on the night, the Support Services category was judged on a number of criteria, including business planning, resource management, financial performance and contribution to the industry.

ExpoNet will now join other state winners as finalists at the MEA National Awards to be held in Brisbane during the MEA National Conference from April 17-19.
