Halifax Vogel Group (HVG) has announced the appointment of Brett Turner – an industry veteran with more than 30 years experience in print and graphics – as National Product Manager – Graphics Media.

Working in print and graphics long enough to have ‘ink running through his veins’, Mr Turner previously served as National Business Manager, Screen & Digital for DIC Australia and more recently completed a stint as Product Manager with AGFA Graphics.

In his new role, he will be responsible for the product development, sourcing, logistics, sales and marketing of HVG’s comprehensive range of graphics products, including digital print films, banner media for the digital, screen, offset, signage, display and exhibition industries.

Mr Turner said he was looking forward to working with a dedicated team and building on his already impressive industry knowledge and experience.

“Learning is growing and this new role carries plenty of areas I look forward to learning about,” he said.

“I’m at HVG to add value to a business that already boasts strong leadership, a wonderful team and clear goals for the future and I’m excited about the opportunity of working with new products and brands that are synonymous with our industry.”

Richard Lucas, Business Manager, HVG Graphics Media said the appointment of someone with Mr Turner’s expertise and experience would help the company maintain its status as a market leader.

“An industry veteran, but young at heart with a strong ink, hardware and consumables background, Brett brings a wealth of product knowledge, industry experience and excellent customer relationships to HVG and that will no doubt be of great benefit to our business in the future,” said Mr Lucas.
