Halifax Vogel Group (HVG) specialises in products for today’s leading interior designers and decorators, but the company also threw its support behind the designers and decorators of tomorrow at the TAFE Design Centre Enmore this month.

The company was a gold sponsor of Unfurl, the graduate exhibition for final year Interior Design and Decoration students on 1 December.

Showcasing what the designers’ of tomorrow are creating today, the exhibition featured innovative designs from each of the graduating students driven by the concept of construction and display using recyclable or reusable materials such as paper and board.

Helping to make the event a reality, HVG’s Graphics Media division donated $1500 worth of its popular Re-board engineered flute cardboard to build cubicles, tables, stands and a plaque with the designers’ names at the exhibition.

“Looking at the quality and creativity of the designs on show at Enmore, I’ve no doubt the future of the interior design industry is in very good hands,” said Richard Lucas, Business Manager, Graphics, HVG.

HVG’s Decorative Building division also lent a hand, supplying a further $500 in sponsorship to build the exhibition space.

“HVG has a long-term commitment to the interior design industry and we were delighted to support what is really the next generation of Australian designers and decorators,” said David Maltby, Business Manager, Decorative Building Products, HVG.

In addition to corporate sponsorship, students from the Design Centre Enmore also undertook their own fundraising to make the graduate exhibition a success.
