One of the most common questions put to golfers is ‘What’s in your bag?’ and now the answer will also be ‘Swisse Vitamins’ following the announcement of a new partnership with the PGA of Australia.
It was announced today that Swisse Vitamins will be known as the Official Vitamin of the PGA of Australia for the next three years.
Already well known in sporting circles for their associations with Cricket and the AFL, this new agreement will see Swisse connect with the Australian golf market by sponsoring the trailblazing Surf Coast Knockout which tees off on the PGA Tour of Australasia in January 2011.
Swisse will also look to develop a range of vitamins and supplements specifically for golfers that will be distributed through the extensive network of pro shops around Australia.
“We are thrilled about partnering with the PGA,” said Swisse Chief Executive Officer, Radek Sali.
“There has always been a great synergy between Swisse and various sporting circles so we are delighted to be The Official Vitamin of the PGA of Australia. We are really looking forward to our involvement with the unique Surf Coast Knockout tournament and the level of excitement it will bring to viewers around the world.”
As part of their association, Swisse Vitamins will look to appoint a golf ambassador to join the Swisse team that already consists of top Australian sportspeople such as Ricky Ponting, Tom Harley and Elka Whalan.
“The PGA is delighted to partner with Swisse Vitamins who offer a premium range of supplements that are well suited golfers of all ages and ability levels,” said Max Garske, CEO of the PGA of Australia.
“We hope that through this partnership and our network of PGA professionals we can spread the Swisse Vitamins message to the entire golf community and have a further impact on their health and wellbeing.”
Swisse are a leader in clinically proven natural medicines, with Australia’s number one multivitamin and some of the fastest growing supplements in Australia.
