Suku Krishnaraj's Leadership Expected to Guide and Accelerate SolarWinds Portfolio of Network, Application and Storage Management Solutions; Gary Angel to Lead Sales Organization in Asia-Pacific Region

AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwire) - SolarWinds (NYSE: SWI), a leading provider of powerful and affordable IT management solutions for more than 97,000 customers worldwide, today announced two new additions to the SolarWinds leadership team.

Suku Krishnaraj has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Product Strategy and will lead the product team and help the company shape its product strategy as it continues to move beyond network management into the broader IT performance management market. Gary Angel has joined the company as Vice President of Asia-Pacific Sales and will be responsible for managing SolarWinds' continued expansion and growth in the Asia-Pacific market.

"When we look at the current landscape of challenges facing IT teams -- from virtualization, to cloud and next generation data centers -- and the offerings from today's 'market leaders,' we continue to see a great deal of unmet needs around the world. We believe that this creates an opportunity with almost any IT organization for SolarWinds' brand of value and solutions," said Kevin Thompson, President and CEO, SolarWinds. "These two hires will help to round out our leadership team to help us take advantage of that opportunity."

"Suku's deep experience in a wide range of IT management disciplines, including application performance management (APM) and business service management (BSM), can help us develop the right mix of products to respond to IT professionals' needs both in the near-term and moving forward. Gary's understanding of the Asia-Pacific market, as well as his skill for building world-class sales organizations, will support our ongoing efforts to build our presence and brand in the region," continued Thompson.
