Bali headquartered IT company Mitrais is to be a sponsor of Mincom’s inaugural international event for organizations in asset intensive industries.

The Asset Intensive Industry Summit will bring together leaders from across the world in mining, transport, energy, public infrastructure and defence to discuss the latest ideas, trends and developments in support of maximizing the asset value chain.
It will be held in two locations to accommodate global attendees - the US and in Queensland, Australia.

Among the speakers will be executives from leading Australian organizations such as QBuild, Energex, Eraring Energy and Metro Trains Melbourne.
Vice president of Mitrais software development division Mike Page said the company’s relationship with Mincom goes back nearly 20 years.

Mitrais is a Global Support Centre for Mincom’s Ellipse Enterprise Asset Management solution, as well as a development centre for the Mincom Integrated Mining Solutions suite, specifically MineScape and CCLAS software.

Roger Bice, vice president of Mitrais’ mining division, said “Mincom continues to enjoy a well-deserved reputation for market leadership in the mining sector owing to the quality of its software applications. As such we have signed 24 new accounts in Indonesia in the past 12 months.”

For APAC delegates the Asset Intensive Industry Summit will follow the US event and be held on Queensland’s Gold Coast from October 31 to November 3.
