The Australasian Oil & Gas Exhibition & Conference (AOG) is poised to again shatter exhibitor and visitor attendance records, selling out its entire exhibitor space five months out from the 2011 event.

AOG 2011 will occupy all six pavilions at Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre from 23-25 February, playing host to more than 400 local and international exhibitors including oil and gas leaders such as Woodside, ConocoPhillips, Technip, Neptune Marine, FMC Technologies, Aker Solutions, Clough Helix, GE Oil & Gas, Cameron, DOF Subsea and Subsea 7.

Floorspace has increased a further 20 per cent on 2010 and will house dedicated feature zones focusing on key areas of the industry including subsea technology, drilling and downhole technology, education and research, innovation and health, safety and the environment.

Exhibition Director, Bill Hare said interest in AOG and Western Australia’s petroleum industry was at a new high, thanks in part to major projects such as Gorgon, Browse and Wheatstone.

“AOG is really shaping up to be the must attend event for the oil and gas industry in 2011. We have sold out three months faster than last year and our exhibitor waiting list is already 20 companies strong and growing daily,” said Mr Hare.

AOG has enjoyed remarkable growth since Diversified Exhibitions purchased the event in 2008, attracting unprecedented attendance figures and moving from a biennial to an annual event in 2009.

The 2011 event will also include a Careers Day supported by Woodside, ConocoPhillips, J P Kenny, Curtin University, University of Western Australia and the Society for Underwater Technology, plus the Subsea Australasia Conference and the AOG Conference featuring a comprehensive program of topical events, seminars and courses.
