ADELAIDE, SOUTH AUSTRALIA, 27 September 2010 – SolveIT Software Pty Ltd, a leading provider of enterprise software solutions for supply & demand optimisation and predictive modelling, announced today that has expanded its science, business analysis, and software delivery teams, across both its Adelaide and Melbourne offices.

Shanna Strong and Daniel Spitty have joined SolveIT Software's business analysis team, based in the company's office in Melbourne, VIC. Daniel Spitty joins SolveIT Software from KPMG Australia, where he worked in the business analysis group. He will head up the business analysis division of SolveIT Software, which specialises in creating transformational supply chain roadmaps for major corporations. Shanna Strong joins SolveIT Software from McCain Foods, where she worked for five years as a Supply Chain Business Analyst in McCain's planning, manufacturing and distribution functions. She has a background in the FMCG industry, as well lean principles of eliminating waste, and maximizing value to customers.

Dr. Maris Ozols and Dr. Jacob Stock have joined SolveIT Software's science team, based in the company's head office in Adelaide, SA. Dr. Maris Ozols is a former DSTO researcher and holds a Ph.D. degree in discrete computation and abstract algebra. Prior to joining SolveIT Software, Maris worked in the areas of safety-critical systems, information security, and game theory. Dr. Jacob Stock holds a Ph.D. degree in computer science, and possesses more than 20 years experience in complex systems modelling and computer simulation.

Xiang Li and Jingjing Dong have joined the company's software delivery team, and will based in SolveIT Software's head office in Adelaide, SA. Xiang and Jingjing are both graduates from the University of Adelaide, each holding a Master of Science degree in Computer Science. Xiang has a background in evolutionary computation and other modern optimisation methods, whereas Jingjing is experienced in the creation of 3D graphics and visualisation engines.

SolveIT Software also recently announced the addition of Lee Hochberg, an international business improvement specialist. Lee has been working to improve organisational performance, competitiveness and value with a wide range of businesses for over 20 years in Australia, the U.S. and Europe. He has facilitated Constraint Management, Lean, TQM, Six Sigma, Balanced Scorecard, and Critical Chain Project Management initiatives for global companies such as 3M, Cray Supercomputer, Kraft Foods, Johnson Matthey, PDM Bridge, the University of Wisconsin, Johnson Controls, and Allen-Bradley.
