Small Business Champion Carol Hanlon has been invited to attend and present on a panel for the BPW Asia-Pacific Regional Conference which is taking place in Auckland, New Zealand on the 9th and 10th of April 2016. The overall topic of the conference will be ‘How to Empower Women Through Business, Diversity & Cultural Equality’.

“I am honoured to be invited to speak on the topic of The Power of Access (Creating supply chains and marketing practices that empower women)”, Ms Hanlon said

“I will sharing my views on ways to increase the competitiveness of women owned businesses, the way national trade policies can increase gender awareness and initiatives to build supply chains,”

“Unfortunately gender inequities are still deeply entrenched in every society. Women in all parts of the world experience discrimination in areas from access to decent work, health care and education to occupational segregation,”

“There will be more than 32 countries represented, 200 international delegates, that attend this very important conference”

“My other co-panellists include the Chief Executive of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce, Michael Barnett, and the Executive Director of the International Trade Centre in Geneva, Arancha Gonzalez,” Ms Hanlon said

“I will have the opportunity to join other international BPW members to hear from amazing speakers – be inspired, meet up with old friends and make new ones, all in the beautiful city of Auckland, New Zealand”, Ms Hanlon said
