13CABS proudly announce the launch of the latest exciting iapp feature TaxiTracker.

As part of the new 13CABS iapp, TaxiTracker enables us to book, track and stay safe in Melbourne cabs from our phones.

A first in the Southern Hemisphere, TaxiTracker addresses the issues of passenger safety and growing community concerns around the use of public transport in Melbourne.

With TaxiTracker, users send a photo of their cab number to the secure 13CABS server where, for the first time, the official who, where and when is recorded.
“Passengers are matched with cabs, images geo-tagged and everyone’s on notice. We can all relax and enjoy cab rides with a renewed sense of confidence and security,” says 13CABS Chief Operating Officer Andrew Skelton.

TaxiTracker is great for retrieving lost property too.
Each year hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of mobile phones, laptops, cameras, umbrellas – even children – are left on the seats of Melbourne taxis.
13CABS now has the ability to match you with your forgotten goods.

Please join the Lord Mayor, Robert Doyle, MC Rhonda Burchmore and
13CABS Andrew Skelton to officially introduce Melbourne’s TaxiTracker:
