Website content management system (CMS) pioneer SiteSuite Australasia Pty Ltd has engaged Bali-based Mitrais to provide website coding services.

This follows a trial which also included software development service providers both within and outside Australia.

Executive chairman of SiteSuite, Grant Goodger said the Sydney-headquartered company planned to outsource some of its website coding to provide greater flexibility and capacity during peak times and enable the in-house focus to be on providing consistently high levels of customer service. SiteSuite was looking for an external partner with which it could develop an ongoing relationship.

“We selected Mitrais because of the quality of its work, the strong English language skills of its staff and the quality and frequency of its project reporting mechanisms.

“Its favourable time zone also influenced our choice,” Mr. Goodger said.
SiteSuite’s foundation product is an innovative content management system now in its fourth major release and which has been implemented by Sensis for Yellow Pages, Yahoo! Australia and New Zealand and latterly the Melbourne IT group. In addition, SiteSuite’s staff of more than 30 provides website design services, e-commerce software and newsletter campaigns.

The CMS provides the website management foundation for a large client base and the product’s ongoing development ensures that relevant new web technologies can be incorporated and released to customers as soon as they become available.
