Adelaide, Australia – In support of its global growth, Optimatics announced the appointment of Paul Moroney as a Non Executive Director to be joining the Optimatics Board this month.

Optimatics Chairman Don Horsell said that he and his fellow Directors are delighted to welcome Mr Moroney to the Optimatics team and look forward to his contribution to the growth of the company as a solutions provider to the water industry.

“Paul brings outstanding capabilities in leading organizational change and achieving enhanced business performance,” Mr Horsell said. “We will be able to draw upon Paul’s diverse expertise and experience to further enhance the Optimatics consulting, software and computer processing business.”

Mr Moroney was an invited expert to participate in the Optimatics Board Strategic Direction Workshop held in Adelaide in March 2008.

Optimatics successfully exports its water systems optimization solutions to water utilities and authorities throughout the world.

About Paul Moroney

Paul Moroney is the Managing and Founding Director of Active Operations Management Australia Pty Limited (AOM Australia). AOM Australia enables large service industry organizations to achieve excellence in operations management through its proprietary methodologies, simulation based training program and Workware software application. AOM Australia also provides a computer application hosting service for clients within the Asia Pacific region.

AOM Australia clients include National Australia Bank, ANZ, Capgemini, EDS Credit Services and Bank of New Zealand.

Prior to founding AOM Australia, Mr. Moroney was General Manager, EDS Credit Services, based in Lockleys, South Australia, where he was responsible for 1,400 full-time equivalent employees. Previously he held business, operations and financial management roles with The Mortgage Centre (Westpac Banking Corporation), Optus Vision and James Hardie Industries.

Mr Moroney is a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) Facilitator in Leadership and Strategic Operational Issues at the Australian Institute of Business Administration. His qualifications include MBA, Gibaran Graduate School of Business and Bachelor of Arts in Accountancy, South Australian Institute of Technology.
