Congratulations to Ayurveda for Wellness – Winner of ACHIEVEMENT AWARD at the 30th Belmont & Western Australian Small Business Awards
In front of an audience of over 400 attendees, Ayurveda for Wellness was one of the many Western Australian small business winners in the 30th Belmont & Western Australian Small Business Awards 2023 on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. Held in the grand ballroom of the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, the ‘Night of Stars Event’ celebrated excellence in business and community achievement.
The welcome address was delivered by City of Belmont Deputy Mayor Cr Deborah Sessions, together with our MC’s for the evening, Member for Belmont, Cassie Rowe MLA, and Belmont BEC Inc. Patron Louise Percy. The night’s entertainment was provided by Kaylene Taylor, with welcome to country performed by Dadajaal Daniel Garlett.

The Designer Showcase Fashion Parade for 2023 featured stunning designs from visiting Filipino designer Eleven S and WA designers Silver Star Designs, Jilaga Designs, Kirrikin and Miss Scarlett with models from Metro Agency.
Winner of the Achievement Award, Vidhu Sharma, is a qualified Ayurvedic Doctor from India and Founder of Ayurveda for Wellness. Vidhu and her team are heavily involved in community service work in the form of weekly informative sessions on health and wellbeing. Ayurveda principles are based on the perception that life represents the relationship between Body, Mind and Soul.
Vidhu is a strong believer of “Do not pray for an easy life, pray for strength to endure a difficult one”. Vidhu survived the New Zealand Earthquakes, but lost her family home, and nearly died. She did not however, lose hope or courage. She has gone onto become a well-known international speaker.
Vidhu Sharma, Ayurveda for Wellness was also inducted into Belmont & Western Australian Small Business Awards ‘Hall of Fame’. Her previous awards included the 2020 Business Migrant Award and 2021 Spirit of Australia Award.
