Racing & Wagering Western Australia (RWWA) supports the 30th Belmont & Western Australian Small Business Awards!
The 30th annual Belmont & Western Australian Small Business Awards was officially launched at Empire Bar in Lathlain on 31st of May, 2023. The Belmont & Western Australian Small Business Awards is coordinated by the Belmont Business Enterprise Centre Inc. (Belmont BEC) who is celebrating 30 years of opportunities, training, and mentoring assisting WA small businesses; and is supported by major sponsors:- City of Belmont and the Textile Clothing Footwear Resource Centre of WA (TCFWA).
Small businesses make up 97.2% of all Western Australian business - with 223,524 small businesses contributing over $54 billion to the economy per year. Small businesses are not only important for their local communities, but have a big impact at all the state, national and international levels. The Awards provide recognition and encouragement for small business achievements and are open for small businesses, individuals and organisations in Belmont, Perth metropolitan area and across regional Western Australia.
Racing & Wagering Western Australia (RWWA) are proud to sponsor the Marjorie Charleson WA Racing Industry Award - recognising achievements within the WA Racing Industry. Racing and Wagering Western Australia (RWWA) is the statutory body regulating all greyhound, harness and thoroughbred racing throughout WA. RWWA’s charter is to foster the development, promote the welfare and ensure the integrity of the WA racing industry, which provides important economic and social benefits to the State. More than 24,400 people participate in the racing industry in Western Australia, which contributes $821 million to the State’s economy each year.
Nominating small businesses can be located anywhere in Western Australia and potential entrants will be able to access a wide range of support in preparing their submission that includes Free Award Entry Submission Kits including Free Webinars, Workshops, and access to Award Mentors who can assist with tips in preparing award submissions to impress the judging panel.
Entries close on September 26th and winners will be announced at the ‘Night of Stars’ event that will take place in the Ballroom of the Perth Exhibition and Convention Centre on November 1st, 2023.
