Gift and Homewares Australia (GHA) has added a new tool to its member services arsenal, partnering with cre8biz, a business advisory service for start-ups and early stage businesses.

GHA chief executive, Alby Taylor, said a decision was made to align the organisation with a specialist advisory service because GHA was sympathetic to the difficulties involved in setting up a new company.

“We realise that the initial stages of business building are often the toughest – particularly for people entering the business world for the first time,” said Taylor.

“There are many things to take into consideration, and for some, a little direction is helpful in ensuring they have the best chance for success.”

“Our agreement with cre8biz will ensure our members have access to valuable support and advice networks, designed to help them during the critical early stages of their small business development,” said Taylor.

Cre8biz will provide a variety of packages to GHA members, including business assessments, feasibility studies, access to grants and all with the assistance of an experienced network of entrepreneurs and external contacts.

“Cre8biz have extensive experience across all areas of business, from planning and mentoring, to providing workable solutions that will improve the financial health of our members’ companies,” said Taylor.

“Setting up a business can be challenging, but we want to assure our members that we are committed to providing ongoing support through all stages of their development and growth.”
