Friday, July 24th, 2020 - Lahana Swim

Australia’s favourite swimwear label, Lahana Swim is implementing sustainable fabric to decrease their carbon footprint and overall impact on the earth.

With sustainability and social responsibility at the heart of their beliefs, founder’s Ramana and Vrindy Benson will be introducing GRS (Global Recycle Standard) certified fabric to new drops until Lahana’s entire collection is sustainable. With a composition of 27% Elastane & 73% Recycled Nylon Lahana will leave a lasting impression on their customers, not a lasting impact on the earth.

Lahana is using their individual influence to create change by implementing sustainable practices into their business.

In this eco age, the businesses goals are to continually improve and better their practices while not compromising the quality of their exclusive pieces.

Lahana girls are those with a ‘green is the new black’ mindset. Their wide range of collections has been spotted on it girls such as Kylie Jenner, Sophia Richie and Victoria Villlarroel and loved by a strong Lahana tribe around the globe.

Working hard to minimise waste and develop best practice, Lahana’s inner and outer packaging that the beautiful orders arrive in is also bio-degradable and compostable.

Lahana Swim

Lahana Swim was created in 2015 by Ramana Benson, Vrindy Benson and Tyler Blair. Their goal; not to want to work the average nine to five job.Growing up along the East Coast of Australia and immersed in the Hare Krishna culture, the sisters developed an appreciation for beautiful exotic prints and design. Lahana is a swimwear and activewear label. A minimalistic range inspired by Australia's love affair with salt and skin.  Our pieces are designed to make women feel like warriors. Making heads turn in our fiercely bold pieces.
