The 2019 competition saw 4913 images submitted from 1258 photographers in 72 countries.

The 2020 competition is open to all professional and amateur photographers with a combined pool

of more than US$40,000, including $10,000 cash.

Prizes include an Epson SureColor P7070 printer, an Epson SureColor P5070 printer, an Epson EB-

1781W ultra-slim projector and a Nikon D850 camera.

We also welcome new supporters - Creative Live, MasterClass, Coursera and Inside Imaging!

The judging panel includes some of the world's top photographers and industry professionals - Lucie

Debelkova, Ignacio Palacios, Isabella Tabacchi, Paul Hoelen, Bill Bailey, Mieke Boynton, Craig

Bill, Aaron Spence, Abe Blair, Carlos Chegado, Julie Fletcher, Timothy Poulton and Juan Pablo

de Miguel.

Curator David Evans says, “We've all been inundated with 'We're here for you' messages lately - so

from the outset I'll say this is not one of those. Well, not quite...

“Despite choosing this year, of all years, to substantially upgrade our entry system by hiring a team of

amazing but very expensive coding super geeks - we do feel indeed very fortunate to have a

guaranteed ‘Corona-free’ online platform. What's more, we are so very grateful that our invaluable and

loyal sponsors have not wavered in their support of the 11th EPSON International Pano Awards. We

also welcome several NEW supporters - Creative Live, MasterClass, Coursera and Inside Imaging!

“And so, it is with optimism and gratitude that we announce the 2020 EPSON International Pano Awards

to be open for entries!

“The prize pool is a hefty US$40,000 - including US$10,000 in cash!

“In addition, after freezing the entry fees for 8 years, our planned $2 fee rise for the Amateur competition

this year to help pay for our new fangled entry system has been put on hold, and we've also lowered the

threshold for the early-bird discount from 5 entries to 4, and increased the discount from 20 to 25% - a

free entry. It all helps.

“When considering the Curator's Award this year, all I'll say is I’ll be on the lookout for topical subjects

and themes in the world today. I'll leave that with you...

“With a bit more time on our hands to edit images at the moment, we can't wait to see what you've got.

Remember there’s no age limit on when entries were created, so find the gold in those hard drives and

give everyone something to smile about!

“We thank you for your invaluable support and best of luck in this year's competition!”
