Wednesday, December 4th, 2019 - Melbourne Float House

Western Bulldogs AFLW star Nicole Callinan has thrown her support behind a brave local business owner's mental health awareness campaign.

Kerry Thurrowgood who owns and operates Melbourne Float House in Kilsyth is publicly shaving her head on the 17th of December in an attempt to raise awareness for mental health and money for Beyond Blue.

In this video, the pair openly share their journeys and direct connection with mental health: https://youtu.be/WfYttNjTjPU

Callinan also provides a unique insight into the support the Western Bulldogs (and the wider AFL community) throw behind mental health.

With a goal of $10,000 being set, Kerry hopes that a little push from Callinan might make the difference over the last two weeks with donations to Beyond Blue currently sitting at $4,890.

As the pair say, it doesn’t matter whether someone contributes $1 or $100 it all adds up.
