Social enterprise store musee.com.au has launched releasing it's first five collaborations with Australian artists and their nominated causes.
Musée is a social enterprise that partners with the artists to create a beautiful range of fashion accessories and homeware products and make a positive difference by supporting causes the artists are most passionate about.
The products support a reduction in single use waste and including tote bags, market produce bags, insulated drink bottles, clutches / hold-alls, beach towels and more.
Founder, Angela Gore, said “We hope to support our wonderfully talented Australian artists by working with their art to create bespoke and unique products, provide a platform for the artists to gain exposure to new audiences and Australia to appreciate, share and engage with art while also making a positive contribution to society. It’s been so interesting hearing each artist’s story and the charities or causes that are close to their hearts”.
Musée artists featured include:
- John & Rosetta Santucci - supporting Diabetes Australia
- Jack Devereux – supporting MS Australia
- Maggi McDonald – supporting The Pink Elephants Support Network
- Kate Pittas – supporting Rural Aid
- Simone Linehan – supporting One Girl Org.
This week (until midnight Sunday 1st December), Musée is donating 100% of profits from the sale of the Kate Pittas collection to support Australian farmers through charity Rural Aid.
