Tuesday 26 February 2019

Change is daunting. Change is testing. Change is inevitable.

BizConnex, a local networking business, will be hosting two informative events deliberating the future of Western Sydney in March 2019.

Head researcher at McCrindle Sophie Renton and former Australian Financial Review  property editor Robert Harley will discuss the ‘Great Population Debate’ on Wednesday 6 March at 5.30pm.

Australia is currently in the midst of transformation due to massive demographic changes combined with huge social shifts, ongoing generational transitions and unprecedented technological innovation.

The discussion will navigate through the megatrends transforming Australia and deliver a snapshot of our expected population growth to 2030.

On Thursday 14 March, Dr Geoff Lee, MP (Liberal Party candidate) and Elizabeth Scully (Labor Party candidate) focus on the ‘Battle for Parramatta’ as we prepare for the NSW State Election.

The opinion polls show that the two parties are neck and neck; this is an invaluable opportunity to hear first-hand and understand each candidate’s proposed plans for the Parramatta region.

The discussion will be moderated by Tom Switzer, Executive Director at The Centre of Independent Studies, ABC Radio National presenter and Fairfax Media columnist.
