Brisbane, 9 January, 2019: Queensland startup Pocket Health has launched myMedKit, an app for Android and iOS that's set to revolutionise the way mums and dads are taking care of their kids by bringing pharmaceutical needs to their door.
Users can upload photos of their prescriptions and select any other items they may require such as paracetamol, nappies or baby formula and have it delivered to their door 7 days a week.
Creator of the myMedKit app Joe Zhou commented: “We believe strongly in having access to healthcare at home and we have seen great uptake from parents for this service.”
The problem facing parents is that there is nothing worse than having a crying baby at night and having to leave their sick children at home to find the nearest late night pharmacy.
One can simply download the myMedKit App and medications can be delivered to their door on-demand, 7 days a week till late. Users are also able to live track the status of their deliveries while waiting in the comfort of their homes.
myMedKit has partnered with leading trusted pharmacies throughout Brisbane and has partnered with several large organisations to make this service available throughout Australia.
The founder of myMedKit also added, “We know this is a service parents need which is why we are delivering 7 days, from 9am till late. You may look at this app and think I don’t need this now, but trust me, everyone will wish they had this app at some stage during their life.”
It’s simple to download and simple to use – everything is processed as if you were at a brick and mortar pharmacy. Users can still choose to speak with a pharmacist by requesting a phone call if required.
With the summer heatwaves, this may be just what the doctor ordered - stay cool at home and enjoy having healthcare delivered to your door. ##
