WaterGroup, Australia’s largest integrated corporate water savings company, is offering rural councils, as part of its ‘Defend against the Drought’ plan, the opportunity to apply for a free NUmeter trial, irrigation meter trial or meter data assessment.

“We sympathise greatly with the rural councils as they face the ever-growing demands and challenges of becoming more water efficient and sustainable during Australia’s toughest drought conditions since 2007,” says Guenter Hauber-Davidson, the Managing Director of WaterGroup.

“By creating the ‘Defend against Drought’ offers, we are giving councils, at no cost to them, an obligation free opportunity to find new and better ways to save, monitor and understand their water use – to make every single drop last longer! All they have to do is apply via email before 15 October 2018 to be in the running,” says Guenter.

WaterGroup’s ‘Defend against Drought’ offers are;

  • NUmeter Trial – WaterGroup will install and connect 10 network enabled ultrasonic water meters (aka NUmeters) for a Council to keep and trial. The NUmeter is ideal for residential and commercial metering, currently being trialed by 4 of Australia’s largest utilities. It’s easy to connect, has low power consumption, long battery life, and long-range coverage. The NUmeter is NMI Certified and meets the relevant Australian standards.
  • Ultrasonic Irrigation Meter Trial – Worth the wait!  WaterGroup’s first network-enabled ultrasonic irrigation meter will be hitting Australian shores in early 2019. Be the first to get one installed for a free trial.
  • Meter Data Assessment - Receive a free meter data assessment/analysis from WaterGroup’s experienced team and get a deeper understanding of your water networks.
