Monday, June 18th, 2018 - Australian Liberty Alliance VIC

A free speech pop-up rally this Tuesday at the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal in Sydney's CBD will be spearheaded by Avi Yemini and Debbie Robinson from the Australian Liberty Alliance (ALA).

Following a series of national rallies last weekend for imprisoned UK political activist Tommy Robinson, the ALA will now bring attention to the NSW Anti-Discrimination Board (ADB), which Avi Yemini claims is persecuting Australians for voicing their political opinions. "The ADB has become a law unto itself. They are inquisitor, judge and jury all in one. It is outrageous."

ALA president Debbie Robinson stated "The cases of TV personality Sonia Kruger, ex-army officer Bernard Gaynor and accident victim John Sunol are an absolute disgrace. At the request of serial litigants, this tax-payer funded tribunal ruins the lives of decent Australians. We must stand up to this injustice and call on the NSW government to disband this board of inquisitors. The thought police have no place in 21st century Australia"

ALA spokesman Avi Yemini points to the persecutions of Bill Leak, the QUT students, Andrew Bolt and others under so-called ‘hate-speech’ laws, which are seen as a crack-down on the basic human right of freedom speech, driven by the OIC and self-appointed victim groups.

Ralf Schumann, the party secretary of ALA, wrote in an email to members: “Freedom of expression is a universal human right. We pay our politicians, police and judiciary to uphold and defend this basic human right, not to suppress it and persecute those who speak out about a perverse ideology.”

Details of the rally: Tuesday 19 June, 12:30pm at the John Maddison Tower, 86-90 Goulburn Street corner Elizabeth Street, Sydney 2000.
