The 2015 Victoria Derby will take place on Saturday 1st November and leading tipping site VictoriaDerby.com is preparing for a huge afternoon at Flemington racecourse.
The Victoria Derby remains one of the jewels in the Australian racing crown and with $1.5million of prize money on offer it continues to be one of the most eagerly anticipated fixtures on the calendar.
With a crowd of over 100,000 people set to pass through the famous Flemington gates and with millions tuning in all over the world, punters will be desperate to find the winner of the race and a whole host of top class three-year-olds will go to post.
Thousands of readers have flocked to VictoriaDerby.com in recent days with the promise that they’ll be receiving expert tips from a team of form students that will be dedicating all of their time to the Victoria Derby meeting.
It means that the tipping team on the site will be working around the clock each day this month to make sure they leave no stone unturned ahead of the meeting. Every year, horse racing fanatics spend hours on end ploughing through the form on offer trying to get an edge on the layers, only to see their horse finish down the field in the contest.
Luckily VictoriaDerby.com are looking to do the hard work for their readers and they’ll be looking for another profitable week at flat racing’s famous meeting.
The site’s editor, Nick Wilby, is feeling confident that this year’s Spring Carnival can be a winning one and he can’t wait for the race time next month.
Wilby commented: “This time of year is always incredibly exciting and we’re seeing an increasing amount of punters who want to get their bets on the Victoria Derby.
“Betting on the race is a fantastic way to increase the excitement and not all of our readers can be experts when it comes to picking winners. Luckily for them we’ve hired a dedicated tipping team for the Victoria Derby and we’re looking to fire in a few winners on the day – including in the feature!
“In 2013 Polanski was well supported and he won at a short price. It was a fantastic race and it was even better having the winner. This year we’re hoping to make it back-to-back Victoria Derby wins and we want to send the Flemington bookies ducking for cover.”
The Victoria Derby is one of the highlights of the Spring Carnival and it has always been held on the Saturday prior to Melbourne Cup day. This year will be no different and the excitement ahead of the Group One continues to build.
