Australian bookmaker BetEasy is marking the relaunch of the company by offering punters $500 in free bets as well as a $50 no deposit wager.

Formerly known as Betezy, the company has completed a rebrand and transition to their new name BetEasy with the launch of a new website and mobile apps ahead of the start of a busy spring of sport in Australia.

Owner Matt Tripp, the former head of rival bookmaker Sportsbet, now heads up the only remaining 100 per cent Australian-owned bookmaker in BetEasy and has set out to make major inroads into the online gambling industry.

Under his leadership, BetEasy is out to cater for Australian punters at a level better than they’ve ever experienced.

For starters BetEasy ia doubling the first deposit amount for new customers meaning punters can get up to $500 free thanks to the 100 per cent promotion available via leading website

Better still, they are also offering all members – both new and old - a free $50 no deposit bet on either the 2014 AFL or NRL Grand Final when firstly joining up at BetEasy and then downloading the new mobile app.

The AFL Grand Final takes place between the Sydney Swans and Hawthorn on Saturday 27 September, while the NRL Grand Final is eight days later Sunday 5 October as the two premierships are decided.

“BetEasy are making a major impact from the outset,” said editor Gary Emmerson. “The launch of the new website and app to provide a better betting experience is not enough – they want to give customers free money too.

“Opportunities to get $500 free are few and far between and that is helping BetEasy stand out from the crowd. No deposit free bets are even rarer and the $50 offer on either of the Grand Finals is something punters shouldn’t miss. We’re delighted to be able to offer both deals.”

BetEasy's new website offers an easy and improved way to bet with the bookmaker, with the neat design making it quicker to find markets and place a bet.

The launch of the website and app comes ahead of a busy period for punters with the AFL and NRL seasons coming to a conclusion with the Grand Finals and the Spring Carnival stepping up to top gear as the countdown to the Melbourne Cup gets closer. is one of the leading betting portals, providing the latest news, offers, promotions, odds and tips from all key bookmakers in Australia.
