HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA -- (Marketwired) -- Grupo Gallegos, an independent creatively-driven advertising and marketing agency, today announced the promotion of Juan Oubiña to the position of Executive Creative Director, where he is based at the company's headquarters in Huntington Beach, CA, effective immediately. Juan joined Grupo Gallegos in 2005 as a Creative Director and will be reporting to John Gallegos, CEO of Grupo Gallegos.

Juan brings many years of industry experience to his new role at Grupo Gallegos. At Grupo Gallegos, Juan has been credited for driving some of the agency's best content ideas including the music work for Energizer, Milk Bedtime Stories and the Valvoline English webisodes. He has also been a big part of the recognition and awards the agency has won from Cannes Lions to the Effies. In his new role, Juan will continue to oversee a group of accounts including JCPenney. Prior to joining the Grupo Gallegos team, Juan was an Associate Creative Director at Casanova Pendrill.
