AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND, (Saturday 27 March, 2010). Award-winning Auckland Commercial Realtor Millie Liang continues to pave the way for women working in the male dominated commercial real estate industry in New Zealand.

Competing against 8,000 international realtors working within the Ray White Group network, Millie Liang scooped up 3 prestigious awards recently at the Ray White Commercial International Awards Event held at the grand Hyatt Regency Coolum, home of the Australian PGA. .

Scooping up 2 international awards for “Settled No. of Transactions” and “Settled Gross Fees” along with gaining entry to the exclusive Ray White Club as an “Alan White Premier Member”, has topped off recognition of Millie’s skill and professionalism during these tough economic times.

Andrew Krukziener, the high profile developer of some of Auckland landmark buildings, says “Millie is clear thinking, hard working and doesn’t waste time. She knows how to open and most importantly close a deal. I enjoy working with her.”

"Millie is perceptive to landlords’ requirements and the nuances of different properties. Not only is Millie hardworking, she achieves results” says Angela Wells of the respected Norfolk Trustee Company and Vulcan Capital Limited.

Despite the difficult economic times, stories of doom-and-gloom and general lack of confidence surrounding the real estate industry over the last 2 yrs, Silly

Millie as she is often referred to by her real estate competitors, has had another successful year.

In Auckland’s highly competitive male dominated CBD commercial sales & leasing market, Millie has regularly been in the top echelon of Ray White Commercial achievers, winning numerous regional, national and international awards over recent years.

Purchasing a further three Queen St properties recently, Mahesh Ranchhod from the Ranchhod Group says “We have found Mille to be very professional in her approach to facilitate closing key important contracts.

She has without a doubt made a dent in a predominately male dominated commercial property industry. She deserves the two international awards among other awards”.

She has proved to be a great asset not only to the industry she serves but to Ray White at the same time. In today’s economic climate hard work and ethics go a long way to a successful long term career in real estate. We wish her every success going forward” said Mahesh.

Auckland CBD developer, Dennis Parbhu of Impala Group says “both tenants and commercial property owners have all benefited from Millie’s expertise and understanding of current market trends and her canny ability to crystallize opportunities is absolutely amazing”.

Millie’s wealth of knowledge, networking abilities and guidance has been essential in providing Impala Group with a definite advantage as we continue to develop in Auckland’s CBD and surrounding suburbs during these challenging times” Mr. Parbhu said

“Providing the right information allows my clients to make informed decisions and working with them through the process to get the best result has always been my focus” says Millie,

Bayleys Real Estate International Sales Director James Chan says, “Millie’s fantastic sales achievement only reflects a small part of her success story. There is no luck and it only comes with sheer hard work and many long hours. I have no doubt 2010 will be another very successful year ahead for Millie”.

Based currently in Auckland at the Ray White Commercial Parnell office, Millie Liang has for more than 8 years specialized in sales and leasing in Auckland’s central and fringe areas.

“I am delighted for Millie she has always been a hard worker and keeps you up to date. I would not hesitate to recommend her services to anyone” says the well known central city identity Greg Burgess of the Gold Star Insurance Company.

“Building relationships with my clients is the essence of my business. It is absolutely essential I provide them with advice that is honest, current and in their best interest”.

Many clients trust me with their life’s savings. Lining up all the ducks, so as failure is not an option whether they are an owner or tenant requires a lot of time to fully understand their individual circumstances. Many are unsure and stunned about what’s really happening in the market place at present.” said Millie.

“Opportunity is still out there whether it is retail or office leasing, refurbishing or developing. Prudent business operators and astute property owners are taking up those opportunities”.

“It would be easy to simply curl up and join the doom and gloom merchants, but as long as I wake up each day, I will just roll with the punches and work for my clients to the best of my ability”.

I know I can’t change the economic climate, but I am continually developing innovative concepts to ensure that I am at the cutting edge of the real estate industry to assist my clients regardless of the micro and macroeconomic conditions prevailing, says Millie.

“Silly Millie is a serious threat to the male dominated industry of Commercial Real Estate,” said an industry insider who spoke on the condition of name suppression.

Millie Liang was instrumental in establishing approx 13 yrs ago, Auckland’s highly successful manufacturing company L & V Furniture Ltd, supplying furniture to NZ’s leading brand retailers.

Highly fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese both spoken and written, along with a sprinkling of perfect Kiwi English is no doubt going to rattle a few more male ego’s as Millie assists the growing Asian community searching for a reliable real estate professional who is well informed and provides straight up honest consistent advice and options available to establish a business or purchase real estate in New Zealand.
