The 10th designedge Innovation Festival 2014 will run from 1st May through to 29th May with events, workshops, webinars and networking forums being staged in Belmont, Western Australia and broadcasted nationally ONLINE. Over 50 events will be presented during the festival, bringing together small business owners, inventors, innovators, fashion designers, creatives and community organisations.
Many of the designedge Festival events this year will again be provided as webinars, so that small business owners across Australia can log in and enjoy the events from their office or home-based business over the internet. Webinars are seminars conducted via the internet that allow users to participate via their computer and if the times and dates scheduled are not suited then a recorded session can be requested.
Carol Hanlon, Founder of the designedge Innovation Festival said, “This will be the 10th year we have co-ordinated the designedge Innovation Festival. The events will bring together small business owners, innovators, fashion designers, creatives, business associations and community groups. Of special interest to attendees this year will be the IFIC International Fashion Incubator Conference (IFIC) webinars. These webinars will focus on unique and innovative global fashion business topics with speakers from Canada and USA”
“Another exciting range of webinars will be part of the TCF Australia ONLINE ENERGY EFFICIENCY Training & Mentoring Project which provides a range services to small businesses in the fashion, textile, clothing, footwear, leather (TCF) creative and associated industries across Australia.
