SEARCH for the majestic Bengal tiger on elephant back and visit some of the oldest temple sites in India on a 10 night tour from Travel Associates.

Departing on selected dates between 16 April 2010 through to 30 June 2010, this round-trip tour from Delhi focuses on native Indian wildlife, visiting Bandhavgarh National Park and Kanha National Park.

Travellers will enjoy two full days searching for tigers, travelling by 4WD jeep and elephant back during morning and afternoon excursions at visiting Bandhavgarh National Park. Monkeys, chital and sambar deer are also likely to be seen. Further tiger tracking will take place at Kanha National Park, which is home to deer, gaur and over 200 species of birds.

Tour highlights also include the 16th Century Agra Fort, the Taj Mahal and a visit to Khajuraho which is home to one of the oldest temple complexes in India renowned for its erotic sculptures.

Prices start from $3,021* per person twin share and include 10 nights accommodation, train from Agra/Jhansi, domestic airfare Nagpur/Delhi, transfers, jungle excursions (by either jeep or elephant), entrance fees, meals as per itinerary, bottle of water daily.
