NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- The Sohn Conference Foundation and Bloomberg LINK today announced a new partnership to produce and present several upcoming Sohn Investment Conferences, beginning with the 19th annual New York event to be held on May 5, 2014. The partnership, a first of its kind for both organizations, will support the Foundation's long-term mission to aid in the treatment and cure of pediatric cancer.
"As we embark on the next phase of our continued expansion, both in the U.S. and abroad, we've found an ideal partner in Bloomberg LINK," said Douglas Hirsch, co-chair of the Sohn Conference Foundation. "Bloomberg's business conferences are among the best anywhere, and the company's track-record of excellence and innovation matches the ethos of the Foundation perfectly. Most importantly, our organizations share a deep belief in our charitable mission."
The Sohn Investment Conferences have long been recognized among the must-attend financial events of the year, bringing together the world's top investors and an audience of thousands of portfolio managers, asset allocators, and private investors. With the addition of Bloomberg LINK, attendees can expect an elevated experience and new features that build on the unique value and character of the conference.
"The Sohn Conference Foundation has set the standard of excellence for financial events," said Robert Bierman, head of Bloomberg LINK. "We are honored to partner with such a long-standing and successful organization that not only convenes the world's top investors, but also has a tremendous impact on pediatric cancer research."
To kick off the partnership, Bloomberg LINK will apply its expertise and capacity in production and promotion to the 2014 Sohn Conferences in New York and London, taking place in May and November respectively. The speaker lineup, one of the most exciting to date, and new elements for the New York conference will be announced in the coming weeks and months.
