The New Venture Institute at Flinders University will present a once-only workshop on February 25 at Flinders University Victoria Square, where branding expert Richard Sauerman will teach how to discover and promote “Brand You”.

The workshop is designed to build entrepreneurial capacity and capability in South Australia by teaching individuals how to use their own brand and purpose to build companies people love working for, buying from, and investing in.

The winner of the inaugural national Battle of Big Thinking, Mr Sauerman says the workshop will help participants change their game and remove the barriers to achieving 10/10 results.

“Each one of us has potential that extends far beyond our actual day-to-day performance,” says Sauerman, who has helped build brand icons such as Cola-Cola, Microsoft, Vodafone, Nestle, Unilever and Levis, and Boots, among many more across a 20-year career.

“We often settle for 7/10 because it gets the job done, it doesn’t require us taking any risks or chances, and it keeps us in our comfort zone.”

The workshop is a 3.5 hour journey that will challenge limitations around what we’ve been taught, what we believe and how we think.

“I’ll be inviting participants to start being a little more ‘unreasonable’ with themselves and their life; to make more of a stand for the things that make them unique and special; and to create a future filled with possibility and potential,” Mr Sauerman says.

“Each individual will create their own, unique Brand ME.”
