The last time you might have heard from the Grumpy Baker they were a small cafe in Darlinghurst.

Now eight years later they are so much more, with expansion into restaurants, hotels, fresh produce markets and The Grumpy Baker Café in Waverton.

The last 8 years have been a growth period for the Grumpy Baker who now specialises in some of Sydney’s finest Sourdough products.

“We pride ourselves in quality product and have just released a new Olive Sourdough product that has been 3 months in the making with 50% more Olives” said Michael Chturmer owner and founder of The Grumpy Baker.
The Grumpy Baker now supplies to fresh produce markets, Epping, Paddington, Orange Grove, King Cross to name a few.

“Our expansion into the wholesale area means we are now supplying to some of Sydney and Canberra’s top restaurants and 5 star hotels’ said Michael Chthurmer.

As well as supplying to the restaurants, markets and within our own stores we are supplying Grumpy Baker breads to many of the local delis & cafes such as Milk Bar in Watsons Bay, SpringBok Delights in Lane Cove.
