It’s testament to Burns for Blinds hard work and innovative practices that during these tough times for retailers that they continue to be successful.
“When so many retailers are doing it tough and even some are disappearing we’re just so proud to still be here and still be going strong,” said Burns for Blinds Marketing Director Matthew Sims of their 60th birthday celebration. “In fact so strong that there are over 200,000 satisfied Burns customers in South Australia.”
But it’s not by accident. Burns for Blinds has forged a reputation for supplying quality products, backed by exceptional service and uncompromising reliability.
Testament to Burns’ success is their steadfast support of local Australian businesses when many of their competitors are sourcing product from Chinese manufacturers.
Burns is proud of the fact they source over 96% of their products and other goods and services from local Australian business. With the exception of their Roller Shutter componentry, from Herol in Germany, which is assembled in Burns’ factory at Stepney, employing local South Australians.
Burns core business supplies South Australians with blinds, window treatments, security products, verandahs and carports. Offering a popular free measure and quote service at home customers can shop in the comfort of their own home.
With two state of the art showrooms at Norwood and Gepps Cross, Burns for Blinds are open 7 days a week. Each showroom features life-sized displays of just about every imaginable window treatment including outdoor solutions as well as security products.
“We changed the way people shop for window furnishings. Our customers really enjoy the experience of being able to touch, feel and compare our products easily. It takes the guess-work and hassles out of the process,” says Matthew Sims.
