Organisers say it’s not too late with some competitor spaces left for Norfolk Island Governors Cup held 04-07 November. Quickly followed by Veterans tournament in February and Hardy’s Pro Am Classic in August, Norfolk Island is gaining a reputation as a golf holiday haven.

The Governor’s Cup is a three day tournament; 4 ball best ball, 2 person Ambrose and 4 ball aggregate Stableford formats. Teams of two, can be womens, mens or mixed. With daily and overall prize pool of AU$10,000 up for grabs visitors could be rewarded in more ways than one. Although organisers say all competitors area a winner as they enjoy a holiday in the South Pacific and play on one of the most stunning golf courses in the world.

The Norfolk Island Travel Centre has special packages for travel from Auckland 3-10 November. Prices start from NZ$899 per person twin share for a seven night stay. The prices includes return economy class airfare (seat + bag) to Norfolk Island, airline taxes, meet & greet at Norfolk airport, 7 night’s twin share accommodation, 7 days car hire (car hire surcharge AU$20 per day and petrol extra), discount shopping card, complimentary miniature golf and complimentary ‘A Walk in the Wild’.
