Michael Jeremy is well-known in the migration advice industry and has 16 years of direct experience.

Michael was employed by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC), the Migration Institute of Australia (MIA), and has more than 10 years’ experience as a Registered Migration Agent.

Michael was employed as an Airport Inspector at Sydney Airport with DIAC and had direct experience with “Border Security” in Australia. During that time, Michael also undertook many primary interviews with people who wanted to engage Australia's protection obligations, i.e. seek asylum in Australia.

Now working in Sydney's west, Michael and WestVisa are increasingly involved with the local community. Michael has had a lifelong interest in other people, other places and his travel work and study has taken him to countries such as Germany, Denmark, Egypt, Syria, Iran, India, Ethiopia, Mali and Sudan. Michael has studied German, French and Arabic.

Michael also presents Continuing Professional Development (CPD) seminars to migration industry professionals, Australian business,employers, government and overseas audiences.
