With a change in location, a handful of more staff and even more training courses on offer, the social media specialists at Social Media AOK are on the rise with a focus on not-for-profit.

Social Media AOK has relocated to a bigger and better location on Level 1, 38 Payneham Road, Adelaide. The office move will cater for the organisation’s now full house, taking on a new staff member as well as accommodating two new interns from the University of South Australia. Nadia, who has recently joined the team has a degree in Journalism with a major in Public Relations and is currently working to complete a Graduate Diploma in Communications (Public Relations) to further her skills in the area of public relations and communications.

“I am very excited to be part of the team at Social Media AOK. I believe that social media is a very powerful tool that will help businesses and organisations grow dramatically. I am particularly passionate about working towards helping not-for-profit organisations improve their skills in the social media sector,” says Nadia.

With the extra helping hands taking charge of the office, Simone Douglas, the Principal Solutions Architect at Social Media AOK, will be continuing organisation specific training for a range of social media applications as well as providing one on one coaching and mentoring to individuals and organisations that are seeking to build their brand online.

Social Media AOK have worked with not-for-profit organisations including Hepatitis Australia, a community organisation that focuses on taking action toward the needs of those affected by hepatitis c, and The Sammy D Foundation, an organisation encouraging youth to make positive and safe life decisions and to reach their full potential.
