AnaLabAsia2013 to serve the promising R&D potential in Asia

ASEAN nations are now spending a larger percentage of their GDP on R&D, with Singapore taking the lead at 2.14 per cent of GDP[1].  Subsequently, the region has set eyes on several important R&D investments over the past two decades.

In line with the demand for the latest technological advancements and business know-how, AnaLabAsia2013 will witness a gathering of the region's leading players in the analytical technology, laboratory technology, biotechnology and diagnostics sectors.  The exhibition will cast a spotlight on analytical and scientific instrumentation, with targeted programmes for research and development, environment, bio-technology, and chemical industries.  Trade professionals will congregate over three exhibition days to participate in an array of sourcing and networking opportunities presented at the exhibition.

The previous edition of AnaLabAsia saw visitors hail from some of the world's most prominent key players, such as Abbott Manufacturing, Baxter Healthcare Asia, Bayer SEA, Chevron Philips Chemicals Asia, Novartis, DKSH, DSM Nutritional Products Asia Pacific, DSO National Laboratories, Ecooils, GE Healthcare, Glaxo Wellcome Manufacturing, Health Sciences Authority, Hyflux, Intertek, Johnson & Johnson Asia Pacific, NSL Chemicals, Panasonic Singapore Laboratories, Parkway Health Group, Pfizer Asia Pacific, Pokka Corporation, PT Nippon Steel Batam Offshore Service, PT Schneider Electric Mfg Batam, Quintech Life Sciences, Shell Chemicals Seraya, Singapore Civil Defence Force, Singapore General Hospital, Singhealth, Unifragrance & Compounds and more. This reinforces the show's relevance to the analytical science, instrumentation, testing, the analytical technology clusters.

"We have visited the show before and found it useful, which is why we are here this year. Our company supplies to the government as well as institutions. We are a distributor for laboratory equipment and are here to look for new products," commented Nandar Aung, Sales Executive Mascots, Myanmar.
