Vic Miller, Managing Director of Miller Studios Photography says he can’t thank ReachLocal enough for helping to grow their business in this current tough economic climate.

Working in the industry for over 20 years, Vic Miller is a highly awarded AIPP master photographer and his portrait studio, based in Perth, specialises in photographing families, in particular young children and newborns.

Now, with the aid of ReachLocal, Miller Studio has an increasing presence in Corporate Photography. This is an area ReachLocal promised to develop and help them grow over the last 12 months.

The only way they have promoted their new Corporate Photography website has been through ReachLocal, and the impact of which has been spectacular. Vic Miller is eternally grateful to his ReachLocal Internet Marketing Consultant Kirsten who teamed up with their in-house marketer Miriam. Kirsten devised an online advertising strategy that has enabled Miller Studios to increase their customer leads via the growing online presence that they now have.

A key benefit of the ReachLocal service has been the call tracking provided by TotalTrack. Miller Studios are now able to record all inbound lead calls, a feature which has become an extremely useful training tool for their staff. Employees have been able to improve their customer service and now know the best ways to converse with prospective clients. As Vic Miller explains, “It’s one thing to receive more calls, but a totally different thing to have a lead conversion where someone actually comes into the studio!”

As IMC Kirsten regularly goes to visit the Miller Studios team and lets them know how their campaigns are tracking, they can ascertain what areas are working and if any adjustments need to be made. Currently their average monthly budget for their ReachSearch campaign is $1500. This figure delivers Miller Studios a monthly average of 45,000 impressions, 520 visits to their website, 35 phone calls, and 90 web events and emails, totalling about 107 leads per month. So, with an average 28 new leads every week and when cost per lead is about $14, it’s clear to see return on investment is strong.
