South Australian businesswoman Cherry Farrow is on a mission to deliver her healthy eating message Australia wide, all the way from Coobowie, a 400-strong rural community 220km from Adelaide.

Managing Director of Lifestyle and Weight Management Program Inspire & Inform, Cherry says her goal is to have an Australian population that’s inspired to look after their health and be free from diet-related illness.

“At Inspire and Inform, we recognise that Australians lead very different lifestyles from one person to the next," Cherry says. "There is no one-size-fits-all method when it comes to weight loss and healthy eating. These beneficial changes in habits and behaviour involve more than just good food and exercise.”

Cherry, a Master Practitioner in Time Line Therapy®, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Hypnotherapy and Coaching, developed the Inspire and Inform Lifestyle and Weight Management Solution after her own personal struggle with weight loss.

“The idea of losing and keeping the weight off was daunting at first" said Cherry, but then I saw it in a more balanced perspective," she says.

“It was like pieces of a puzzle. This time, I knew it was more than just what I ate and how I exercised. I had to understand my thought process and make sure it fit in with the other areas of my life, including my family, work and social activities to keep things balanced and enjoyable.  Once I slotted those puzzle pieces together, everything aligned and become so easy!”

The program designed by Cherry is based around The Token System, a unique and easy to follow classification that imparts the user with knowledge about the food they’re eating. The amount of Tokens assigned per day is matched with the personal attributes of the client (male/female, height, weight, activity level etc.), to achieve the client’s objectives.

Simple tools are included with the Inspire & Inform program, such as menu planners, cooking demonstrations, exercise videos, an online community forum as well as personal encouragement and support from Inspire & Inform practitioners.

Cherry recently extended the array of tools in the Inspire & Inform range by releasing the first in the Inspire and Inform Cookbook Series, ‘Soups & Slow Cooker Recipes’.

The program and the cookbook help change lifelong habits without complicating meal preparation, and in Cherry’s words “propel you to live your life to the fullest”.

An exciting development for Cherry is the recent announcement that Inspire & Inform will be running "Secrets to Weight Loss Success" seminars around the country from next year.
