Sherry’s love of draughtsmanship and figure drawing translates into much of her work. Her brush finds its way into negative spaces, searching for colour and looking for the ‘music’ in a piece. Sherry captures moments and movement with realism and emotion.
Timed to coincide with Norfolk Island’s Wearable Arts festival and long Summer days Sherry will be in her element this January on this picturesque South Pacific island.
Sherry will share her wealth of artistic experience using practical demonstrations, positive and constructive critiques and group discussions. Participant numbers are capped to twelve allowing Sherry to also provide individual tuition to all levels of artists.
The program also includes visitors experiencing the arty side of Norfolk Island and meals at some of Norfolk’s best paddock to plate restaurants.
Non-painting participants including partners, family & friends are welcome to travel and enjoy Norfolk’s many activities and tours during lesson times and meet up with the group for social functions during the week.
