Red Hatters are 50s-something women who meet and travel in the name of fun. They wear red hats and purple attire the more frivolous the better. Their motto is clear dip your toe back in to a wild fun world, stop counting your years, and start living life - the party is only just beginning!
Ladies looking for a hilarious time can enjoy the world of Norfolk Island and participate in a week of planned activities including ‘Tom Jones Dinner and Show’, Exclusive Cyclorama & Hilli Lounge function with canapés and sparkling wine on arrival, an Island wide Treasure Hunt including prizes and lunch, afternoon tea function at A Walk in the Wild and a hilarious farewell ‘A Night as a Convict’.
Women younger than 50 are also welcome, but they must possess a fun-loving streak, don pink hats with lavender or lilac attire. Look-at-me accessories like a red feather boa are encouraged.
The leader of the local Red Hat chapter is known as the Queen, and members refer to each other as Red Hatters. Events vary from chapter to chapter, but most Red Hatters favour attending parties, fun outings and get-togethers for any reason, or just for no reason at all!
