The line-up of Australian artists, performers and installations is confirmed for PassionArt - Canada Bay's first Valentine's Day event and Sydney's newest.
At this free event, art installations, performances and interactive elements will transform part of Canada Bay's famous Bay Run (Henley Marine Drive) into a vibrant and romantic journey for all the family on Sunday, 14 February at 4pm-9pm. Included is a special open-air screening of the popular romantic movie musical, Grease.
Internationally renowned artist and body painter Tim Gratton will be a major attraction, joined by The Two Frocks, two charming ladies tired of looking for love in all the wrong places, and Bluebird performed and choreographed by Liz Lea, an internationally acclaimed dancer who has performed this show world-wide.
Also starring are: DarkGlass Ensemble (theatre), 3Tles (specialising in Beatles music), DJ Honey, Fabba (Abba tribute band), Dancing under the Stars with 7 Flavours, Tango Concepto, Group Ti Li Li Li, The Body Serpentine, The Tunnel of Love, Remote Control Love, Wrap with Love, Garden Bed of Earthly Delight, Future Capture (film competition screening), Art Est (life drawing), Play Me, My Guitar School, caricaturists Stanley Toohey and Steve Panozzo (charges apply for personal caricatures), mime artist Leo Bonne, chalk artist Leanne Ricci, the Embroidery Guild and Heartbeat (a love message display).
