And Their Ghosts May Be Heard - Stand and deliver! Blue-collar pub theatre is back with a vengeance in Splash Theatre Company's Fringe production "And Their Ghosts My Be Heard".

Featuring ballads, yarns and songs by iconic Aussie writers such as Henry Lawson, Banjo Paterson, C.J. Dennis, Lennie Lower and others, the show promises both humour and poignancy.

Historical scenes evoke the Eureka Rebellion, the Gallipoli campaign and Ned Kelly's trial. In the Kelly trial scene a different guest celebrity takes on the role of Judge Sir Redmond Barry for each performance.

Guests include former SA Premier Lynn Arnold, Fringe Director Christie Anthoney, writer Susan Mitchell, Today Tonight producer Graham Archer, journalist David Sly, theatre critic Myk Mykyta, voice coach and NIDA graduate David Griggs, ex-army captain Bill Denny and ABC presenter Peter Goers.

At each performance the cast will "pass round the hat " in true Aussie style, for the benefit of different charities including the Flying Doctor, Legacy, RSL, Australian Republican Movement and Teen Challenge.

The show will appeal to anyone interested in the strange creature that is the Australian male or who simply wants a good night out with friends at the pub. It will tour to other pubs and clubs in SA and Victoria following the Adelaide Fringe.
