The author of the #1 equine book “Dancing with Horses”, Klaus Ferdinand Hempfling for the first time comes to Australia to perform at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre

The Australian organiser for Klaus Ferdinand Hempfling, Petra Webstein, is proud to announce that the author of the best selling equine books “Dancing with Horses” and “What Horses Reveal” as well as producer of horse related movies “Dancing with Horses” and “Coming Together” Klaus Ferdinand Hempfling, comes to Australia to present an 8 day live event called “Pure Practical Performance” from the 6th to 13th April 2010 at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre.

Klaus Ferdinand Hempfling will be working with 5 very different horses during this 8 day block event. The spectator will be guided from the initial characterisation of a horse, through to the first encounter, the healing process, and further on to Klaus’ world famous “Art of Lunging”.

His never seen before approach to working with the horse, bringing the free horse into collection from the ground, is shaking the classical and natural horse training world. Spectators of this event will witness the dance between man and horse up close and personal.

His way of being and working returns the horse to its natural equilibrium, thus bringing the best potential to a reality for the ultimate partnership and performance.

Spectators can apply for their horse to be in the pool to be chosen by Klaus Ferdinand Hempfling to work with during this event.

One free ticket to this event is available to be won by answering one question, go to and click on the “Win a Ticket” link.

Klaus Ferdinand Hempfling

Klaus Ferdinand Hempfling, with his professional background in communications has shaken up the international horse world. He is at the forefront of new ideas on working and interacting with horses.

The basis of his work is consideration for the horse's psyche, communication via a body language that is understood by the horse and interaction with these powerful, beautiful, dignified creatures in accordance with nature.

The development of the rider's "presence" and an orientation to holistic principles is integral to this work.

Klaus has the ability to "know" a horse within a few seconds and within a few minutes of the first meeting, he establishes a relationship so firmly that anything after that is completely based on trust.
