Popular Perth charity fundraising event, ‘Dine For Life’ will return in 2013 and bring together some of the finest representatives of Perth’s food and wine industry. Dine for Life actively encourages lovers of fine dining to share good food and good company for a specific cause in a simultaneous dining event spanning 20+ restaurants each year. Participating diners are then invited to an exclusive secret after party.

100% of proceeds are donated to an organisation selected by founders of Dine for Life - Natasha Di Ciano and Andjelka Matic. In 2012, Australian registered not for profit SISHA, ‘South East Asia Investigations into Social and Humanitarian Activities’ was selected, and the event raised over $36,000 for the charity.

Over 200 guests, including Basil and Amy Zempilas and Aurelio Costarella, came together for the event. Restaurants that supported the cause included Rockpool Bar & Grill, Nobu, Fuku, Modo Mio, Bistro Guillaume, Beluga, Jackson's Restaurant, Restaurant Amusé, Maurizio Restaurant, Divido, Mosman’s, 1907 Restaurant, Sentinel Bar & Grill and Lamont’s. Print Hall hosted the secret after party.

Funds raised from the 2012 event were donated to SISHA’s Raids and Rescues department, which was most in need of financial aid. The Cambodian based operation works to ensure justice for victims of human rights abuses such as human trafficking, bonded labour, rape and other forms of exploitation particularly aimed at women and children. As SISHA grows, they receive even more calls from victims for help.

Dine for Life co-founder Natasha Di Ciano said, “The difference Dine for Life’s event made to SISHA was great. We saw how important the work they undertake was and how much we can help by being involved. This is why we will be continuing our support of SISHA in 2013.”

“This year we’ll be celebrating our 5th event for Dine for Life, and will be hoping to play a major role in assisting SISHA’s 2nd Australian fundraising and awareness campaign,” Natasha said.

The 2013 event will launch in style at an exclusive club. Dine for Life 2013 promises to be bigger and better, including the commencement of an event in Melbourne.

Natasha Di Ciano said, “This year’s Dine for Life will be held on 27 November 2013 in Perth, and we encourage the community’s support”.
